PCB Assembly
BTI continues the turnkey process with PCB fabrication working with outside contractors
using electronically transmitted Gerber and fabrication data. To ensure quality and maintain
on time delivery, we work with a small number of BTI qualified PCB fabricators.
In our effort to supply the highest quality PCBs, all of our boards are 100% electrically tested.
After the bare boards have passed BTI’s internal Quality Inspection they are moved into
assembly where we use the specified components provided by the customer or purchased
by BTI.
BTI has onsite assembly staff and equipment to meet your assembly needs. All assembly
staff members have been certified to IPC J-STD-001E.
BTI provides assembly for any project. We have yet to find something we can not
successfully assemble.
BTI utilizes high end assembly equipment, such as an Essemtec 5 zone solder reflow oven,
an Essemtec solder paste printer, Nicolet Imaging System (real time X-Ray system) with
thermal printer, OK Industries Micro BGA system, Metcal Solder stations, just to name a few
of our resources.
Our assembly staff members are highly trained and motivated to build it right the first time
and on time!
Mechanical assembly? - No problem! We can provide mechanical assembly of panels, wire
harnesses, specialty cables and complete box builds.
Some additional information regarding assembly:
* Single and Double sided assembly
* High density
* Mixed technology (Through hole and SMT)
* BGA and Micro BGA assembly
* QFN assembly
* Lead Free and RoHS compliant assembly if needed
* Class II and Class III IPC 610 and J-STD Military acceptability criteria
We have never found a component that we have not been able to assemble to a PCB
correctly, the first time.
If you have an assembly requirement, just send us your BOM and assembly drawings and
we can provide a quote.
